School... ugh!!! | phidget's Blog

When I decided to go back to school to get my BA (and eventually Masters) I knew that it wouldn't be easy... I mean I hadn't been in school for 10 years... A WHOLE FRICKIN' DECADE!!!  But I also had faith in my intelligence (well sometimes - HAH!!!) and my ability to learn quickly... plus I am so stubborn that if I say I'm going to do something I do it... but wow... I feel like I have no time left... my classes start next Wednesday... I have 10 hours this semester (3 classes), plus I work full-time (but then again you see how hard I work - HAH!) and I have my 2 kids who will be on Summer break... oh and we can't forget my BIG kid (aka - the BF) who only has ONE class this semester (jackass)... so I feel a bit overwhelmed... and the classes haven't even started...

Luckily I decided to take CHEM, SPAN and SOCI... The Sociology class will be a breeze... I mean it ties into Psych and that is my major PLUS that is what my BF has his BA in and what he is getting his Masters in... so I'm good there... Spanish... well, my BF took it and I can KINDA speak it but I don't know about this class... as for CHEM... I'm a retard... I've never been good at math and science... I mean I can barely count without fingers and toes!!!  So we'll see... I do have a 3.6 GPA right now so even if I fuck up a little I'll still be good...

UGH... school... I didn't like it when I didn't have to pay for it... I have no idea why I thought I would have enjoyed it when I AM paying for it!!!
